Proof: They actually did it!

I FOUND ONE OF ERIC!!! Thanks to Regan's friends, I found a wedding picture of Eric...he was actually there, and they actually got married! Who hoo! What a beautiful couple.

Did I Mention...

...that everyone had a great time at the wedding? I'm just going to let everyone infer whatever they like about the above photos.
I also need to take a minute to apologize to the groom. I was pretty busy with the bride on the the wedding day, and when we went back to look at the pictures, we realized that we don't have any of the groom on our camera. As soon as we can get our hands on one, I will post it!

The Big Wedding!

Of COURSE the little man made it down the isle on his own...if by "on his own" you mean in Jeremy's arms with a pacifier in his mouth NOT holding the ring pillow. Oh well, Regan didn't seem to care and it was HER big day. Regan didn't even really seem to care that she got a bad nose bleed just as we were putting on her white wedding gown. She was in a great mood all day, as she should be on her wedding day when she was marrying the wonderful Eric.
Anyway, ceremony-shmeremony...we brought Brady back to the hotel with his babysitter as soon as pictures were over, then we had a GREAT time partying the night away. The band was amazing and Reg and Eric's friends were so much fun to hang out with...if anyone didn't have a good time at this wedding, it was their own fault! And, to top it all off, can you say "Viennese Dessert Bar"? I still dream about these desserts at night...and I know Brady would have enjoyed them, too...oh well!
It was a perfect day that I hope Regan and Eric will remember happily for the rest of their lives.

The Rehearsal Dinner (Regan and Eric's, that is)

OK, so these are all pictures of Brady, but I thought they are a pretty good sign of how fun the night was. By the end of the night, his tie was crooked, his shirt was untucked, he was covered in chocolate, and he was bouncing off the walls. That pretty much sums up what I was like, too. We love Tre Scalini, we love their food, and they helped to make the night wonderful. And it didn't hurt that my sister gave me a dope bracelet for being her Matron of Honor to top the night off!

More From Christmas...It just kept going!

Top Picture: "Poppy, play with me, open my toys... sit, sit, sit...more, more, more...PLEASE!!!
And why are we all compelled to listed to this little stinker?
Bottom picture: How could we resist? Resistance is futile against pudgy cheeks, dimples, and an Eton suit with knee socks.

Merry Christmas to All!

We had such a great Christmas this year, one of the reason's being that Brady was SO much fun. We made one major rookie parenting mistake, though...we actually bought him things. He didn't really care so much about the toys on Christmas day, he just had a blast opening them. Each time he tore open a present, tearing the wrapping paper into little shreds, then he would say "more, more, more" to open another. Instead of buying him new presents, I should have wrapped up things that other people gave him, old magazines, my shoes...whatever. He didn't truly appreciate all of his new things until all of the presents were open. He really got great things from everyone, and made everyone play with him. It's actually been pretty rough since we got home because he doesn't want to do anything by himself...he wants ATTENTION!!! Oh well, it was worth it!

Home for the Holidays!

Brady was truly a trooper over the holidays. He did a great job on the 8 and a half hour plane ride, and he coped with all of the long-ish car rides that we put him through...lucky for him, each time we took a plane/car ride, there was a light at the end of the tunnel. All of our friends and family showered him with attention, love and, of course, gifts (like this awesome fridge radio that he LOVES!). If he could, Brady would be personally writing a million thank-you notes to everyone for giving him a great trip home!
