Duh-Nuh...duh-nuh, duh-nuh...

If you couldn't tell by my words, the title is actually the theme from jaws. This title is appropriate because we took the boys to the aquarium where they experienced a shark-filled train ride, including a faux shark attack (think pretend JAWS attack in Universal Studios).

Now, let's get to the bumble bee pajama pictures. In October he was the fattest skeleton, but have you ever seen a bee that chubby?! The pictures don't even really do it justice...his little bubble butt looks so funny in these!

Do You Miss Us?

I was starting to get the death threats that I receive whenever there are no new pictures of the boys posted. So, here you go...was it worth the wait?!
Funny Brady Story: This morning we were getting ready to go out, and, as usual, Brady waited until the last possible second to go pee. He ran into the bathroom, dancing around the whole way, throwing the toys that were in hands into mine, then slamming the door. From outside the door, Jeremy and I heard him yell, in his cutest little Brady voice, "Damn it"! Luckily, he hadn't peed himself, he was just having trouble getting his pants down.
Anyway, I looked at Jeremy and managed to tell him that the situation was all his before I went into my closet and burst out laughing. Jeremy had to double over with his hands on his knees to keep himself laughing silently. When we, wonderful, serious parents that we are, finally got our act together, we talked to Brady about how inappropriate his words were. And I, sadly, had to make a deal with the child that we would BOTH stop using those words.

Family is the Name of the Game

Christmas this year was really everything it should be. It's nice to think about the memories that Brady is starting to form...he really loves being around family, and Carson latched right on to that, and has jumped in to being comfortable with everyone, too. Actually, when we're home, they really don't need me around anymore!
Oh, and by the way, who is that little old man in the plaid pajamas?!

"Santa?...I Know Him!!!!"

After his performance at home, I expected Brady to be ripping open presents with little regard to anyone around him, but I was surprised to see that he actually took his time inspecting each gift and requesting that it be opened so he could play with it immediately. The only "rude" moment he had was on Christmas eve, when he opened his giant new pirate ship from Aunt Reggie and Uncle Eric. He pushed it aside, looking confused, and said "No thank you". Hmmmm...really?! I honestly think that he didn't understand what was in the box because he LOVES the pirate ship now, but his reaction was hilarious (to most people).
Carson, on the other hand, had little interest in opening gifts. Santa (and Santa's Grandma, as Brady called Mrs. Clause) should have saved his money because the only thing that Carson really wanted to play with was a toothbrush that he found in his stocking.

Here Comes Christmas!

Before Christmas, we had a great time visiting grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. Then, it was time to zip up this year's Christmas PJ's and get down to business. Once Santa's cookies and milk were placed on the mantle, Tootsie the Elf disappeared to update Santa with Brady and Carson's good behavior, and the boys were allowed to open one present each, it was finally bed time for 2 hopeful boys...

Did I Mention that it Snowed?

Guess who enjoyed playing in the snow and who would rather watch?!

Family, Friends, and Snow!

Our most recent trip home for Christmas was perfect and priceless. As noted before, it started with a HUGE amount of snow that provided hours of entertainment, plus a reason to drink lots of hot chocolate.

Then, we were able to spend time with family (Jenny and Blaise even purposely got snowed in with us!) and friends (Isn't Emmy getting big?!). Brady finally understands Santa, and was able to sit on his lap twice just to make sure Santa fully grasped his expectations for Christmas morning. When we weren't stuck in the snow, we spent time visiting family, watching movies, playing games, and having a great time. I know it sounds so cheesy, but we had so much fun...we didn't want it to end!

Over the next few days, I will do my best to post new pictures, and get everyone caught up on our holiday good times.
