Art Cars, Natural Science, and Our Super Fun Kids

I ask myself a lot of question everyday...Like: When Brady is supposed to be "resting", why does he stealthily leave collections of objects at the foot of the stairs? Why do I love to make proper nouns into verbs (example - "I Martha Stewarted my house before the party")? Why do I love to make two words into one AWESOME new word ( for example, "fundies" - fun undies. I made that up myself years ago, so don't even try to take credit anyone)? Why do I look 4 months pregnant all of the time ever since I had the boys? Well, All of these questions might not have great answers, (although I am open to suggestions) but I have recently thought of an answer for the age old question "why do people want to have kids when they make everything harder?". And the answer is that they also make everything better, more fun, happier, more enjoyable, and new again...and it's worth it.

A Spot on Psych Week

After seeing ads for Psych week on TCL (or was is Biography?), Jeremy and I decided that maybe Carson deserves a spot on the show...a little too cleanly if you know what I mean. The only real thing left to ponder, however, is how the child looks so DIRTY all of the time even though his favorite word is "towel" and he is constantly wiping his face (or some other surface). Hmm...

The Sleepy, Yet Shocked, Birthday Boy

Brady was VERY tired after a long weekend of birthday celebrations, but definitely NOT too sleepy to be shocked that Carson got him a birthday gift...and definitely NOT to sleepy (or shocked) to want to open it.

Carson Jumps!

I think, on certain occasions, one might even be able to slide a piece of paper under Carson's feet (one at a time, of course) while he is jumping. Amazing! I am told, by a credible pediatric physician, that children are not expected to have the skill to jump until they are 2 years old. As you all know, Carson is only 18 months...Princeton Lacrosse, here we come! U-hem, I mean "He"...here "He" comes. And brady is such a supportice brother! I'm so proud.
